Kit&Co is a vertical business within Toters focused on preparing high-quality ready-to-eat and ready-to-cook food products. As the business grows, we are looking for an experienced Senior HR Officer to support the people operations of the business and ensure that our HR practices effectively support both our HQ and kitchen teams.
As a Senior HR Officer, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations for Kit&Co, with a strong focus on the needs of an F&B and kitchen-based workforce. You will act as a key point of contact for employees and managers, ensuring smooth execution of HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
The role requires someone who is hands-on, organized, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, with a strong understanding of employee relations, workforce administration, attendance, and the practical HR needs of an operational F&B business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day HR operations across the Kit&Co employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through employee movements and offboarding.
- Coordinate recruitment activities for kitchen and HQ positions, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
- Ensure new employees complete the required onboarding and documentation processes and are properly integrated into the business.
- Manage employee records and ensure HR documentation and employee data are accurate and up to date.
- Monitor attendance, working hours, shifts, leaves, absences, overtime, and other workforce-related records, particularly for the kitchen workforce.
- Coordinate with managers and the relevant teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll inputs.
- Handle day-to-day employee relations matters and support managers in addressing employee concerns and workplace issues.
- Ensure disciplinary cases are handled consistently and in line with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, benefits, attendance, leave, and other employment-related matters.
- Support the implementation and communication of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives within Kit&Co.
- Maintain and update employee information and HR transactions within the HRIS and other relevant systems.
- Prepare regular HR reports and workforce analysis, including headcount, turnover, attendance, absenteeism, overtime, and other relevant metrics.
- Work closely with kitchen and operations management to understand workforce requirements and address HR-related operational needs.
- Support workforce planning and manpower requirements based on business and operational needs.
- Ensure timely completion of employee lifecycle processes, including probation follow-up, transfers, promotions, resignations, and terminations.
- Support employee engagement and HR initiatives across Kit&Co.
- Ensure HR practices are consistently applied and aligned with Toters policies and applicable labor requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and the overall employee experience within the business.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HR, with previous experience in F&B, hospitality, food production, or a similar operational environment.
- Solid experience in HR operations and employee lifecycle management.
- Strong understanding of recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, attendance management, payroll inputs, HR administration, and HRIS systems.
- Previous experience managing a blue-collar or shift-based workforce is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of attendance, overtime, leave, and workforce administration in an operational environment.
- Good knowledge of Lebanese labor practices and HR compliance requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at different levels and backgrounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when handling employee records and HR data.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee matters with professionalism and discretion.
