Senior Performance & Planning Executive

We are looking for a Senior Performance & Planning Executive to support the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated digital media campaigns.

The successful candidate will combine strong digital media planning capabilities with hands-on performance marketing experience. They will translate client objectives into effective channel strategies, manage campaigns across key advertising platforms, and use data to improve performance and deliver measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of digital media strategies aligned with client objectives and campaign KPIs.

  • Build integrated, full-funnel media plans covering awareness, consideration, conversion, and retention.

  • Recommend the appropriate channel mix, audience strategy, budget allocation, and campaign phasing.

  • Prepare media plans, forecasts, campaign projections, and supporting rationale.

  • Conduct audience, market, category, and competitor research to inform planning decisions.

  • Identify opportunities across platforms, audiences, formats, creatives, and markets.

  • Stay informed about emerging platforms, media products, consumer behaviours, and industry trends.

  • Set up, manage, and optimize campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, Programmatic, and other relevant platforms.

  • Manage campaign trafficking, targeting, bidding, budget pacing, and quality assurance.

  • Monitor performance against KPIs such as ROAS, CPA, CAC, revenue, conversions, CTR, CPC, CPM, reach, and frequency.

  • Identify performance gaps and implement timely optimization actions.

  • Conduct audience, creative, placement, bidding, and landing-page testing.

  • Ensure campaigns are delivered accurately, efficiently, and within the approved budgets and timelines.

  • Coordinate with creative and technical teams to ensure assets, tracking, and campaign requirements are ready before launch.

  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and post-campaign reports.

  • Analyse performance across platforms, audiences, creatives, formats, and markets.

  • Translate campaign data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.

  • Support campaign forecasting, measurement, attribution, and tracking initiatives.

  • Ensure reporting accuracy and consistency across platforms and dashboards.

  • Use data to recommend budget reallocations and improve overall media effectiveness.

  • Support day-to-day communication with clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Participate in campaign reviews, status meetings, and planning sessions.

  • Present media plans, campaign performance, insights, and recommendations.

  • Manage assigned deliverables and ensure deadlines are met.

  • Respond proactively to client requests and campaign-related challenges.

  • Build trusted relationships by providing clear, accurate, and commercially relevant recommendations.

  • Collaborate with planning, performance, programmatic, analytics, creative, finance, and account management teams.

  • Coordinate with media partners and platform representatives to identify optimization and growth opportunities.

  • Support junior team members by reviewing their work and sharing platform and campaign knowledge.

  • Contribute to new-business pitches, media proposals, and strategic presentations.

  • Maintain accurate campaign documentation, budget trackers, and financial records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Media, or a related field.
  • Approximately 3–5 years of experience in digital media planning and performance marketing, preferably within a media or advertising agency.
  • Strong hands-on experience managing campaigns across Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager.
  • Experience with additional platforms such as TikTok, Snapchat, DV360, SA360, or other programmatic platforms is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience developing media plans, channel strategies, forecasts, and budget allocations.
  • Strong understanding of the digital media ecosystem, campaign objectives, audience targeting, bidding strategies, and optimization methods.
  • Good understanding of performance metrics, including ROAS, CPA, CAC, CTR, CPC, CPM, conversion rate, reach, and frequency.
  • Experience using analytics and reporting tools such as GA4, Looker Studio, and platform dashboards.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate data into clear insights and practical recommendations.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
  • Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, or relevant platform certifications are preferred.
