Assistant Manager - Compensation and Benefits and Analytics

Job Purpose

Responsible for supporting the design, administration, and governance of the Group's compensation programs. This role ensures the accurate and timely execution of annual compensation processes, manages compensation-related HR systems, coordinates employee share option plans, conducts market benchmarking, and provides data analytical support for planning and decision making.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Compensation & Benefits
    • Compensation Management
      • Support the Group's annual salary increment process, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with approved compensation guidelines.
      • Support the annual Short-Term Incentive (STI) process, including planning, calculations, validations, and payout coordination.
      • Ensure compensation processes are completed within established timelines and governance requirements.
      • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of compensation data and reports
      • Provide guidance on compensation policies, processes, and system-related queries.
      • Support the Head of Compensation & Benefits in strategic compensation projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Employee Share Option Plans

      • Support the Group's Employee Share Option (ESOP) and other equity-based compensation programs.
      • Maintain accurate participant records and coordinate grant, vesting, exercise, and reporting activities.
      • Liaise with Finance, Company Secretariat, Payroll, and external administrators to ensure smooth execution of share-related processes.
  • HRIS Compensation Module
      • Manage and maintain the compensation module within the Group HRIS.
      • Configure and support annual compensation cycles, including salary reviews, bonus planning, and compensation data updates.
      • Ensure data integrity, system accuracy, and effective user support for compensation-related activities.
      • Identify opportunities to improve system functionality and process efficiency.
  • Compensation & Benefits Benchmarking
      • Coordinate participation in compensation and benefits surveys across the Group.
      • Analyze market compensation data and prepare benchmarking reports and recommendations.
      • Support the review of salary structures, pay ranges, and compensation competitiveness.

2. Reporting & Analytics

  • Analyze Group HR data and prepare reports as applicable for Executive Management, HR Leadership, and the Board as required.
  • Support the preparation of disclosures and employee-related information for the Group Annual Report.
  • Develop dashboards and analytical reports to support planning and decision-making of the HR Function.

3. Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure all data mining and reporting activities comply with Group policies, applicable legislation, and internal governance standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails.

4. Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with Center HR Heads, Payroll, Finance, and business leaders.

Person Specifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits or HR Analytics.
  • Experience handling reward cycles (increments, bonuses, or incentives) preferred.
  • Exposure to HR systems (Success Factors) is an advantage.
