This role ensures to manage the raw material, trims & accessories issuing process in order to ensure that all requirements are issued in a timely manner in order to facilitate the production process.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with production teams the requirements of production and instruct the subordinate staff for issuing in order to ensure that items are issued in accordance to the specifications to start production on time.
• Coordinate with Sourcing/Logistics departments and carry out the reshipment process effectively in order to ensure on time delivery / update the system for issuing.
• Monitor the Fabric/foam/glue/silicone/flock/trims accessories etc. issuing process and attend to any problems in order to provide quick resolution to ensure smooth issuing process.
• Coordinate with finance / sourcing and carry out the stock write off for fabric by adopting following methods in order to get the maximum usage of raw material
  • Stock Transfers
  • Disposal of unwanted material
• Ensure that subordinate staff members adhere to 6 S, health and safety, customer compliance standards in order to meet specified operational standards
• Ensure accuracy of stocks and location system / inform Logistics Manager of any excess / redundant / slow moving material status in order to better inventory / space management.
• Preparation of monthly usage reports in order to facilitate management decision making process.
• Monitor the material returns and reprocessing procedure with outsourcing, Logistics in order to support the smooth functioning of the production process.
• Closely monitor the performance of the team, guide and motivate the team members in order to inculcate and enhance the team culture.
• Generate Kaizens for the warehouse team by closely analysing the existing process and providing solutions through collaborations with team.

Qualifications

• Degree In Supply Chain Management
• Minimum of 2 years experience.
• Knowledge on FGW area will be an added advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of production processes and manufacturing operations.
• Ability to work with production teams and coordinate day-to-day activities.
