Junior Lawyer - Banking & Finance

Department purpose

Our real estate finance department specialises in international banking work, including regulatory work, syndicated lending, investment grade, leveraged acquisition finance and debt restructuring. You will join a dynamic team advising amongst others investment banks, international commercial banks, investment funds, governments and public entities requiring advanced legal advice for complex transactions.

Role purpose
We are currently looking for a Junior lawyer in banking & finance.

Key requirements

  • You hold a law degree, preferably with honours. An additional degree from a UK or US university, such as an LL.M., would be considered a strong asset.
  • You are admitted to a foreign Bar and/or have already passed the CCDL.
  • You have 1 to 2 years of experience in Banking & Finance law.
  • You are fluent in both written and spoken English and French.
  • You are a proactive team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, responsiveness, and client service are key.
  • You demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and are committed to delivering high-quality work.
  • You have a solid academic background in banking and finance law and/or have gained relevant practical experience through internships or previous professional experience.
