Mid/Senior Data Engineer with French

Proxiad SEE is an IT consulting and software development company, part of Proxiad Group France. Operating in Bulgaria and North Macedonia, we employ over 250 professionals skilled in various sectors: healthcare, finance, e-commerce and retail, transport & logistics, procurement. We're also the company behind two software solutions for office work – our workplace management software, Desk Buddy, and our performance management software, GROW.

About the project:

In partnership with a major French banking group, we are on a mission to build a team located in Bulgaria and North Macedonia, starting with an opening for Data Engineers with French.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data processing solutions
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT workflows for integrating data from multiple sources
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability
• Transform and prepare data for analytics, reporting, and business intelligence
• Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot data and production issues
• Optimize data processing and improve pipeline performance
• Collaborate with data analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to understand and deliver data requirements
• Perform testing and support the deployment and release of data solutions
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Participate in an Agile development environment and contribute to continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Python and SQL
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes
• Good knowledge of the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem
• Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, XLR/XLD, and Kubernetes
• Understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) systems
• Good knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment
