Job Vacancy: Investment Executive
As an Investment Executive, you will be responsible for seamless transmission, monitoring, settlement, and reporting of trade orders. In this role, you will contribute to delivering efficient and high-quality service experience to the MCB Affluent segments and MCB customers at large, while ensuring accuracy, timeliness and operational excellence throughout the transaction lifecycle.
In this role, you will:
- Act as the primary point of contact for high-net-worth customers, centralizing and managing all trade instructions across financial markets in line with their investment requirements.
- Contribute to the achievement of the Execution Desk's financial objectives by generating trading transaction fees, supporting revenue growth, and actively participating in the desk's strategic initiatives.
- Provide customers with insights on market trends, trading opportunities, and liquidity sourcing to deliver superior service experience.
- Prepare and present reports in accordance with agreed standards and customer expectations.
- Liaise closely with Securities Services team to monitor the settlement of trade orders and the transfer of securities, ensuring customers receive accurate and timely updates.
- Collaborate with internal Group stakeholders and external partners to gather and share market research and intelligence, helping to identify and optimize investment opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international brokers to stay informed of market developments, trading trends, and emerging opportunities.
- Keep abreast of economic developments, market news, and new financial products, and proactively share knowledge with colleagues to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

We are looking for a candidate who has a minimum of
EITHER
- Degree in Finance/Financial services/ Investment or a numerate degree (e.g Mathematics, Actuarial Studies) or a completed Professional Qualification (CFA/ ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA);
- 2 years relevant experience as an Investment Executive, Investment/Financial Advisor or other similar role in a Financial Institution, preferably on Financial Stock markets.
OR
- At least 5 years of working as an Investment Executive, Investment/Financial Advisor or other similar role in a Financial Institution, preferably on Financial Stock markets.
A combination of both qualifications & experience will be considered.
You will be required to demonstrate:
- A thorough understanding of financial markets, investment products, and related operational processes.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
- Flexibility to work outside standard office hours, including shifts when required, to support business continuity and ensure seamless service delivery.
