Human Resource Intern (Talent Acquisition)

We are looking for a proactive and creative Human Resources Intern to support the Ninja Mart HR team in recruitment and employer branding initiatives. This role offers hands-on exposure to the hiring process, while providing an opportunity to contribute ideas and help develop new ways to attract and engage potential candidates.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment activities, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding support.
• Support the planning and execution of walk-in interviews and other recruitment activities.
• Assist in establishing and developing Ninja Mart’s recruitment presence on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Threads.
• Support the creation of recruitment content, including job vacancy posters, captions, and short videos.
• Assist with TikTok Live sessions and other social media initiatives to promote job vacancies and engage potential candidates.
• Explore new recruitment channels and sourcing strategies to attract candidates, particularly for warehouse and operational roles.
• Assist in developing and implementing recruitment initiatives to improve candidate reach and hiring effectiveness.
• Maintain recruitment trackers and support general HR administrative tasks.
• Perform other HR-related duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Mass Communication, Communications, Digital Media, Creative Media, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong interest in social media content creation, employer branding and recruitment marketing.
• Familiar with social media platforms, particularly TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, including current content trends.
• Able to generate creative content ideas and translate recruitment messages into engaging social media content.
• Basic video editing and design skills using tools such as CapCut, Canva or similar applications would be an advantage.
• Comfortable participating in video shoots and appearing on camera when required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Creative, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
