Quality Control Chemist

As a QC Chemist, you're responsible in determining the quality of every production batches manufactured in the plant. The role requires discipline in maintaining the outmost integrity in evaluating the result of the production batches objectively through the standard test in the product. Adherence to EHS and 5S standards is mandatory to ensure workplace safety and maintain operational excellence within the plant. You will report directly to QC Manager.

Responsibilities

• Support QC manager to ensure all the safety, quality and customer requirement are follow.·
• Ensure all the departmental procedure is follow and update the process flow if required.
• Coordinate and support new product development activity related to product Quality.
• To perform investigation with team on customer complaint, SSPL and return goods.
• Work with manager, co-worker and technical to resolve the product quality issue.
• Work with technical for formula optimization and process improvement.
• Lead the new product supervision and hand over process.
• Raise the internal CAIR to related section if there are any abnormality observed.
• Weekly or monthly quality related reporting.
• To track First Time Quality (FTQ) and perform RCA on low FTQ test method.
• Monitor in-process rejection by defect type.
• Improve productivity by develop plans to eliminate the non-value added test.
• Release product quality at nominal range of test results.
• Maintain good 5S and EHS compliance in the work area.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates encourage to apply
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Engineering.
• Knowledge in paint or chemicals.
• Manual spray painting skill is an added advantage.
• Preventive maintenance monitoring and finished goods product foot print implementation.
• Demonstrated managing multiple tasks effectively and make decision on solving non-conformance products.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills.
