Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Experience Design Intern who is enthusiastic about game development. During the three-month internship, the Intern will collaborate with our art team and experience the full art-asset creation process for FC Mobile. The Intern will report to the Art Director.

Responsibilities

  • You will support the design of player experiences and user interfaces for FC Mobile across different features and game flows.
  • You will create user flows, wireframes, UI mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate and validate design ideas.
  • You will explore different interaction and visual solutions to improve usability, clarity, accessibility, and overall player experience.
  • You will create and refine UI components and visual assets, while maintaining consistency with the game’s visual language and design system.
  • You will work with game editors and engines to prototype, implement, and iterate on UI and interaction designs in the game environment.
  • You will collaborate with designers, artists, engineers, and other team members to understand requirements, gather feedback, and bring designs from concept to implementation.
  • You will review existing game experiences, identify potential player pain points, and propose thoughtful design improvements.
  • You will explore new interaction patterns, visual directions, motion concepts, and experience ideas for future FC Mobile experiences.

Qualifications

  • You have a strong foundation in visual design and a good sense of aesthetics, composition, typography, color, and visual hierarchy.
  • You have a basic understanding of user experience and interaction design principles, or actively pay attention to how interfaces and interactions shape your experience while playing games or using digital products.
  • You are proficient in Figma and familiar with Photoshop, Illustrator, or other Adobe design tools.
  • You have hands-on experience with game engines or game editors, such as Unity or Unreal Engine, and are comfortable working with UI and interactive elements in an engine environment.
  • You can communicate and validate design ideas through user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
  • You are curious about player behavior and have a thoughtful approach to researching, analyzing, and exploring different solutions before starting design work.
  • You are comfortable receiving feedback, iterating on your designs, and collaborating with team members to bring designs from concept to implementation.
  • Experience with motion design, 3D tools, or advanced prototyping is a plus.
  • You are passionate about games and eager to pursue a career in experience design and game development.
