Country IT Manager

As the Country IT Manager, they will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing IT infrastructure, systems, and processes within our Malaysian operations. This role is pivotal in aligning local IT needs with the company's global vision, ensuring seamless integration and efficient operations. The new recruit will work closely with both business stakeholders and the global IT team to achieve these objectives.

• Lead and manage the local IT team, providing strategic direction and guidance.

• Implement and oversee the execution of global IT strategies at the country level.

• Ensure effective communication and collaboration between local and global IT teams.

• Identify and address local IT challenges, proposing innovative solutions.

• Manage and optimize IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks.

• Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies, recommending improvements.

• Provide technical support and guidance to business units as required.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their IT needs and requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management, with a proven track record of success.

• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach.

• Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and processes.

• Experience in working with diverse, global teams and stakeholders.

• Ability to think strategically and drive innovation in IT operations.

• Proficiency in project management and the ability to deliver results.

• Analytical mindset with problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
