Senior Treasury & Regulatory Reporting Specialist

Are you an experienced Treasury Operations and Regulatory Reporting professional with strong expertise in Treasury and Capital Markets products?

We are looking for a Senior Treasury Back Office & Regulatory Reporting Specialist to join our team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will take ownership of regulatory reporting and back-office activities across FX, Money Markets, Derivatives, Fixed Income and Repo transactions, ensuring accurate processing, settlement and regulatory compliance.

Your role:

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accurate settlement, confirmation, accounting, and regulatory reporting of treasury transactions while supporting regulatory compliance requirements.

This position requires strong knowledge of treasury products, settlement processes, financial markets infrastructure, and banking regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end processing and settlement of Treasury transactions.
• Perform trade validation, confirmations, settlement instructions, and exception management.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor and reconcile Treasury positions, cash flows, and accounting entries.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Middle Office, Risk Management, Finance, Compliance, and external counterparties.
• Lead regulatory reporting obligations including liquidity, capital, and prudential reporting requirements.
• Investigate and resolve settlement breaks, payment issues, and reconciliation discrepancies.
• Participate in Treasury system enhancements, automation initiatives, and change projects.
• Maintain operational procedures and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.

You are comfortable navigating a fast-changing and complex environment, think beyond established ways of working and look for opportunities to improve how things are done. Whether you are a recent graduate or already have some experience in financial services, you are eager to develop your expertise across FX, Money Market, Securities and Derivative products and build your career in Treasury Operations.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of treasury and capital market products, including:

  • Money Market Deposits
  • FX Spot, Forward and Swap transactions
  • Interest Rate Swaps
  • Cross Currency Swaps
  • Government and Corporate Bonds
  • EMTN and other Debt Securities
  • Repo Transactions

• Solid knowledge of payment and settlement infrastructures such as SWIFT, TARGET2/T2, Euroclear, and Clearstream.

• Experience with regulatory reporting frameworks and banking regulations.

• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Treasury Operations, Treasury Back Office, Regulatory Reporting, or Financial Markets Operations.

• Familiarity with Treasury Management Systems and core banking platforms.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in European banking environments.
• Knowledge of EMIR, MIFIR, SFTR , CSDR and similar regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with Bloomberg, Reuters, Swift and similar Treasury systems.
• Project management and process improvement experience.
