Hotel Manager

We are seeking to hire a Hotel Manager at Fosshótel Núpar from November 1st 2026

Hotel manager prepares and manages the daily operations of the hotel including reception, reservations, restaurant, housekeeping, property maintenance and human resources. Hotel manager works closely with the head office in sales and marketing and makes sure the hotel operates according to the company´s quality and operational standards. The hotel manager leads a team of employees, is responsible for delivering operational profits while keeping the wellbeing of both guests and employee´s as the foundation.

Qualifications

• Successful managerial experience in hotels and/or restaurants.
• Education in the field of hotel management and/or education in food service or culinary arts is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and passion for quality service.
• Financial literacy and analytical skills
• Good system and computer skills. Opera Cloud, Business Central and H3 knowledge is an advantage.

• Operation and maintenance of the hotel property

The hotel manager will have a newly built apartment for private use.

Applicant must be willing to learn Icelandic upon hiring.
