LifeCare is seeking an enthusiastic and professional person to join our Wellington team. Based in Lower Hutt, this role involves travelling directly from home to client sites throughout the Lower North Island, delivering occupational health services and first aid training to a wide range of organisations.

This is an independent role with strong team support, ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, educating others, and promoting workplace health and wellbeing.

About the Role

This is a 0.8 FTE position (4 days per week), with the potential for an additional day by mutual agreement.

While work is generally scheduled in advance, the nature of client-based services means there will occasionally be early starts, late finishes, overnight travel, and some Saturday work.

To support you in the role, LifeCare provides a company vehicle for business use, along with a laptop, mobile phone and all required equipment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver engaging and practical first aid training programmes.
  • Conduct occupational health assessments, including:
  • Pre-employment health checks
  • Annual health monitoring
  • Drug and alcohol testing
  • Collect specimens and perform health screening activities.
  • Maintain accurate health records and client documentation using digital systems.
  • Ensure compliance with LifeCare policies, procedures and professional standards.
  • Travel throughout the Lower North Island to deliver services at client sites and from our Lower Hutt branch.

What You'll Bring

  • Registered Nurse qualification with current Nursing Council registration and APC.
  • Current phlebotomy competency and ability to undertake specimen collection confidently.
  • Full New Zealand Driver Licence with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence facilitating training and engaging groups of people.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy schedule.
  • Comfortable using digital systems and technology.
  • Flexibility to travel and work occasional early mornings, late finishes and overnight stays.
