We are seeking a motivated and versatile Electrician to join our Maintenance Team and help maintain the essential infrastructure that supports our hotels, airport facilities, staff accommodation and operational equipment.

About the Role
As part of our skilled Maintenance Team, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day electrical maintenance and repair of a diverse range of facilities and plant. This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. While your primary focus will be electrical maintenance, you'll also assist with general engineering and maintenance tasks across the property, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving and working across multiple disciplines.

What you will be doing
• Carry out electrical maintenance, repairs and installations across hotel, airport and residential facilities
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults safely and efficiently
• Install, test and commission electrical equipment and systems
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and specifications
• Test electrical circuits and ensure compliance with relevant standards
• Repair and replace faulty wiring, components and electrical equipment
• Assist with lift maintenance, testing and adjustments
• Participate in an on-call roster (up to three evenings per week)
• Support after-hours fault finding and emergency response activities
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Contribute to fire prevention initiatives and critical incident response
• Uphold high standards of Health & Safety at all times
• Assist with a variety of general maintenance and engineering duties when required

What you will bring to the role
• NZ Registered Electrician with a current practising licence, or suitably qualified Appliance Engineer/Electrical Service Technician
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience working across commercial, hospitality, accommodation or industrial environments is advantageous
• Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently
• Strong planning and organisational skills
• Commitment to safe work practices
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
• Full New Zealand driver's licence
The role and benefits
• Fulltime, permanent position, minimum 80 hours per fortnight, typically working 7am - 5pm.
• Role is roster based, including weekends, and on-call rosters
• Pay range is $32.00 - $36.00 depending on qualifications and experience.
