Assistant Manager E&I Planning

Location: SECMC – Thar Site

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive E&I maintenance plans, schedules, and strategies to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
• Ensure availability of spare parts, machinery, resources, and required skill sets for maintenance activities while minimizing operational downtime.
• Develop maintenance plans in line with OEM recommendations, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment to execute maintenance activities efficiently and within budget.
• Generate and prioritize work orders based on equipment criticality, safety considerations, and production requirements.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies for electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend preventive maintenance measures.
• Perform inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of E&I equipment.
• Respond to unplanned breakdowns and emergency maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
• Liaise with Procurement and Warehouse teams for spares, materials, and inventory management.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with PM and CM plans.
• Support and implement on-the-job training programs for technicians and engineers.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and conduct required audits and job-cycle checks.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering.
• Certification in Maintenance Planning or Reliability Engineering (e.g., CMRP) will be an added advantage.

Experience:

• 3–7 years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), and asset management.
• Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and related planning/scheduling software.
