About the Role:
The incumbent will play a key role in steering our design and illustration function, driving the visual development of high-quality educational books and publishing materials across both print and digital platforms. This position supports creative leadership across the team, ensuring exceptional visual storytelling, brand consistency, and pedagogically sound, engaging content that aligns with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Creative Execution & Direction: Assist in leading the visual strategy for educational publications, elevating book layouts, illustration styles, and cover aesthetics across diverse product lines.
- Workflow Optimization: Refine and streamline day-to-day creative workflows to ensure efficient, scalable, and deadline-driven content delivery.
- Design Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and digital publishing tools to continuously modernize visual assets and layout frameworks.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in design and illustration, preferably within the publishing, educational media, or creative agency sector.
- Demonstrated proficiency in design software, vector illustration workflows, typography, and prepress/digital output standards.
- Strong collaborative and project coordination skills, with experience guiding junior designers or freelance talent.
