System Integration & Migration Lead

Validation & Engineering Group, Inc. (V&EG) a Pinnaql company is a leading services supplier who provides solutions for the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Chemical, Food, and Medical Devices industries in the following areas: Laboratory, Compliance, Computer, Engineering, Project Management, Validation, and other services.

We are seeking a talented, dedicated individual committed to work under the highest ethics standards for the following position:

System Integration & Migration Lead (Pharma)

Description:

Support the handoff activities between engineering and QA utilizing a strong understanding of system lifecycle and commissioning/qualification concepts (e.g., build vs. construct terminology, IQ/OQ/PQ awareness).
Migrating documentation and data between electronic systems (DMS, QMS, LIMS, MES, ERP, etc.), ensuring data integrity and traceability.
Design and execute migration validation plans: mapping, reconciliation methods, verification checks, and acceptance criteria to confirm consistency across systems.
Troubleshoot and problem-solve, identify and resolve integration, formatting, or data-mapping issues.
Prepare or review technical drawings, system architecture diagrams, and configuration documentation; able to interpret engineering drawings and relate them to system requirements.
Create and deliver training for end users and administrators on system functionality, migration procedures, and post-migration verification steps.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related scientific/technical field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a system power user, integrator, or technical lead in regulated industries (pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices) preferred.
Hands-on familiarity with multiple platforms and tools (experience with at least some of DMS, LIMS, MES, ERP, document converters, ETL tools, or APIs) and the ability to harmonize data across up to six disparate systems.
Practical knowledge of document/system structures and formats (metadata, templates, versioning) to standardize and improve cross-system compatibility.
Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (bilingual preferred) to coordinate with cross-functional teams (IT, QA, Engineering, Validation) and produce clear technical documentation.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills; capable of managing multiple concurrent integration tasks and maintaining audit-ready records.
Willingness to work occasional additional hours to support critical migration windows or cutover events; flexibility for rare weekend activities as needed.
