Responsibilities

• +5 years of experience in software development and data engineering

• Develop, maintain, and evolve high-volume ETL and data pipelines

• Design and implement solutions for large-scale data processing

• Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance of applications and data processes

• Provide application support and troubleshoot technical issues

• Investigate and resolve critical production incidents

• Analyse root causes and implement robust, long-term solutions

• Identify opportunities for process, performance, and technical improvements

• Implement and continuously improve existing solutions and pipelines

• Work with a high degree of autonomy, taking ownership of assigned topics from analysis through implementation

• Collaborate with technical and business teams when required

Essential skills

• Python — mandatory, with proven experience in ETL and high-volume data pipelines

• Strong knowledge of databases, preferably PostgreSQL

• Experience with PL/SQL

• Good knowledge of Linux

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)/Google Cloud Services
