Job Responsibilities:

What you can expect

​The Supplier Change Leader is responsible for the complete lifecycle management of assigned Supplier Product Change Notifications (PCNs), from initial receipt and assessment through implementation and closure. The role serves as the primary interface between suppliers and internal cross-functional teams, ensuring supplier-driven changes are assessed, validated, approved, documented, and implemented according to internal change management processes, customer requirements, quality standards, and business objectives.

  • Own assigned PCNs from cradle to grave and maintain accountability throughout the complete change lifecycle
  • Review PCN documentation for completeness, technical clarity, risk information, validation data, implementation dates, and supplier supporting evidence
  • Verify supplier implementation timing against internal program, manufacturing, inventory, launch, and customer requirements
  • Contact suppliers to clarify technical, quality, manufacturing, logistics, or implementation details and request additional information as required
  • Prepare weekly PCN assessment agendas and standardized presentations
  • Present PCNs during cross-functional PCN Assessment meetings and facilitate decision making
  • Coordinate engineering, purchasing, quality, industrial engineering, manufacturing, launch management, logistics, and program management input
  • Track actions, risks, validation requirements, PPAP activities, and implementation decisions through closure
  • Create and manage Change Requests (CRs) in Windchill/PLM and ensure data accuracy
  • Confirm impacted plants, product lines, customer programs, and stakeholders are correctly identified and aligned
  • Provide status reporting, escalation management, and communication to leadership and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with internal change management standards, governance requirements, and customer expectations

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related discipline
  • Experience in automotive, electronics manufacturing, supplier quality, engineering, purchasing, launch, program management, or change management environments
  • Experience working with supplier-driven changes, PCNs, ECRs, engineering changes, or PLM workflows
  • Advanced English communication skills
  • Cross-functional knowledge (Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Program Management)
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage a high volume of PCNs simultaneously
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, networking, and stakeholder management skills
  • Problem solving and analysis tools knowledge including 4M, Change Point Analysis, FMEA, 8D, COP/Quality Testing, Risk Assessment and 1P1P
  • Understanding of customer expectations and requirements regarding product and process changes
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook and reporting tools
  • Automotive industry experience
  • Windchill or other PLM system experience
  • Knowledge of APQP, PPAP and change control processes
  • Experience in global and multicultural organizations
