You'll make a difference by:

• Collaborating with internal teams (PM, CPM, technical teams, etc.) to understand project requirements and ensure alignment with procurement objectives.
• Implementing defined procurement strategies for projects and managing daily operational tasks.
• Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, conducting requests for quotations (RFQ/RFP), and performing comparative analyses to select the best options.
• Negotiating prices, delivery terms, and commercial conditions with suppliers in collaboration with relevant cross-functional teams, ensuring advantageous agreements that comply with company standards.
• Providing the necessary data for creating purchase orders (POs), transmitting orders to suppliers, and tracking their confirmation.
• Organizing and coordinating deliveries from suppliers, ensuring they meet agreed terms and conditions, in collaboration with the logistics department.
• Providing support and intervening punctually in expediting activities when necessary to ensure adherence to delivery deadlines.
• Providing reliable material cost data to support project cost calculations.
• Developing and maintaining the Project Procurement Plan.
• Conducting market analyses, evaluating suppliers, and supporting the selection process based on performance, cost, and quality criteria.
• Managing administrative procurement tasks, including invoice clarification and maintaining/updating databases with information on suppliers, products, prices, and contracts.
• Actively supporting the management of non-conformities related to products, services, or deliveries (e.g., defective products, incorrect quantities, delays), collaborating with suppliers and internal departments for resolution.
• Ensuring transparency and compliance with internal procedures and regulations.

Your defining qualities:

• Higher education in Engineering or Business Administration.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain.
• Proven experience in operational procurement (P2P process) and order management.
• Experienced in commercial negotiations.
• Knowledge of project procurement or category management is an advantage.
• Proficiency in using SAP (or similar ERP systems) for order processing and reporting.
• Ability to monitor progress, risks, and opportunities within a project context.
• Familiarity with procurement tools and processes, such as modern eSourcing platforms for managing RFx processes, cost tracking, and data-driven reporting.
