The IT Level 1 Administrator serves as the first point of contact for users experiencing IT-related issues. The role is responsible for receiving, logging, categorizing, troubleshooting, and resolving incidents and service requests while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This is a hybrid role based in Brasov. Please note that this opportunity is offered through one of our staffing partners. The employment contract will be concluded with the agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Helpdesk Support.
  • Receive and process support requests via ticketing systems, email, phone, or chat.
  • Log, categorize, prioritize, and assign incidents and service requests.
  • Provide first-level troubleshooting for hardware, software, network, and access-related issues.
  • Monitor ticket queues and ensure timely resolution according to SLA targets.
  • Advance unresolved issues to Level 2 or specialist support teams.

User Administration:

  • Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts.
  • Perform password resets and account unlocks.
  • Grant and revoke access permissions according to approved procedures.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities.

Desktop and Application Support:

  • Support Windows operating systems and standard business applications.
  • Assist users with software installations, upgrades, and configuration issues.
  • Troubleshoot printers, mobile devices, VPN connections, and collaboration tools.
  • Provide basic network connectivity troubleshooting.

Knowledge Management:

  • Maintain helpdesk documentation and knowledge base articles.
  • Create FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and user instructions.
  • Document solutions and recurring issues to improve service efficiency.

Customer Service:

  • Communicate optimally with end users regarding ticket status and resolution.
  • Ensure a professional and customer-focused approach.
  • Gather user feedback and contribute to service improvements.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft applications.
  • Basic understanding of Active Directory, user administration, and networking.
  • Experience with ITSM/Helpdesk tools (ServiceNow, Jira, OTRS, MyIT, etc.).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical degree or equivalent IT experience.
  • ITIL Foundation knowledge.
  • Experience in enterprise helpdesk environments and in working with ticketing systems.

Typical Scope in a Corporate Environment:

  • Password resets and account management.

Software installation and troubleshooting:

  • Hardware support (laptops, desktops, servers, peripherals).

Printer and network connectivity issues:

  • Ticket routing and escalation management.
