Position Overview

Reporting to the Dean and working closely with the Dean’s direct reports and students, the Student Experience Coordinator will advance the College’s execution of creating a holistic student experience for the college’s undergraduate students on the Moscow campus. This will entail successfully developing and executing purposeful student-centered events, creating an avenue to capture the student’s voice regularly, and developing content for platforms to showcase promote events and the success of our students.

Duties include:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute student-centered events and programming that enhance the undergraduate student experience and support students’ personal and professional development.
  • Build relationships with students and student organizations and collaborate with faculty, staff, alumni, employers, and campus partners to deliver meaningful student experiences.
  • Lead student-facing marketing and communications, including social media, digital content, and promotion of student programs, events, opportunities, and accomplishments.
  • Capture and share student experiences and success stories to strengthen student connection and showcase the College’s student experience.
  • Administer student surveys and other assessment activities to gather student feedback, internship and career outcomes, and measures of student success.
  • Analyze and report student engagement, feedback, and outcomes data to inform College decision-making and continuous improvement.

Position Qualifications

Required Experience

  • One year of work experience in student support services, clientele support services or organizational learning
  • Demonstrated familiarity with social media platforms and experience creating engaging digital content

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four year institution

Required Other

  • Ability to work nonstandard business hours including selected evenings and weekends

Additional Preferred

  • Experience in event planning and coordination
  • Ability to manage time effectively while balancing multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and contribute strategic ideas
  • Marketing and content creation experience

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

  • Ability to lift, carry or otherwise move up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for long periods of time

Degree Requirement Listed degree qualification is required at time of application
