About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Research Engineer to join our Biacore Applications & Consumables team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the next generation of Biacore consumables, turning new ideas into products that enable scientific breakthroughs for researchers around the globe.
As part of a collaborative and highly skilled team, you will drive innovation from concept to product, combining hands-on laboratory work, scientific expertise, and creative problem-solving to develop solutions that make a real impact. You will also play an important role in supporting and continuously improving our existing consumables portfolio, ensuring that Biacore remains the trusted choice for interaction analysis.
What You'll Do
- Drive the development of innovative Biacore consumables products from idea to launch.
- Design, evaluate, and optimize new consumables concepts and technologies.
- Solve scientific and technical challenges through experimentation and innovation.
- Perform hands-on laboratory work to develop and validate new products and applications.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Support product care activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of our consumables portfolio.
Who You Are
- MSc or similar in relevant life science discipline.
- Experience working with SPR technology and Biacore systems.
- Strong laboratory skills and a genuine passion for experimental science.
- Knowledge of statistics and data analysis, with an interest in applying them to product development.
- An innovative problem-solver who enjoys turning scientific challenges into practical solutions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a multidisciplinary environment.
