We are looking for an EMEA Spare Parts Buyer and Planner to join our Service Logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal availability and inventory mix of spare parts across our service logistics network. You will play a key role in delivering high service levels while optimizing inventory turnover and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the right quantity and mix of available spare parts throughout the service logistics network to achieve targeted service levels and optimize inventory turnover (ITO).
- Support Management Units (MUs) with inventory-related topics and drive the continuous improvement of inventory management processes.
- Monitor inventory parameters and key performance indicators (KPIs) across the entire service logistics network.
- Support the evaluation and control of excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory and participate in inventory governance activities within EMEA and selected Management Units.
- Collaborate closely with Service Delivery Managers, manufacturers, suppliers, logistics teams, the central EMEA Spare Parts Planning Team, Spare Parts Order Coordinators, Technical Support teams, and external Service Providers.
- Analyze inventory performance and recommend actions to improve availability, efficiency, and stock optimization.
- Contribute to service excellence by ensuring timely and effective spare parts availability for customers.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in inventory planning, supply chain, logistics, materials management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret inventory data and KPIs.
- Understanding of inventory optimization principles and supply chain processes.
- Experience working in a multinational environment is an advantage.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across different regions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other business systems.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
The anticipated salary range for this role Slovakia is between16 248€ to 20 310€ gross per and reflects the range applicable in that jurisdiction. Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation and benefits.
