Siemens Mobility Thailand is looking for a Project Procurement Manager in our Bangkok office.

In this role you will be responsible for project procurement planning and management in customer bid, project execution and service projects along the PM (Project Management) at Siemens life cycle for projects in Thailand supporting various business units and stakeholders across the organization.

This is your role. What part will you play?

The key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Lead and coordinate all project procurement activities, serving as the key interface between project teams, stakeholders, suppliers, and the global procurement organization.
  • Develop and execute project procurement plans, align procurement schedules with project timelines, and manage RFQ processes based on customer and project requirements.
  • Drive sourcing, procurement, and negotiation strategies to achieve cost savings, optimize supplier selection, and support successful e-bidding/e-auction outcomes.
  • Negotiate supplier contracts, evaluate quotations through cross-functional collaboration, and ensure compliance with company procurement policies and standards.
  • Identify and mitigate supplier-related risks, support supplier performance management, and actively implement local sourcing strategies to enhance project success.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, or project management, preferably within engineering, infrastructure, or railway industries.
  • Proven experience working in project-based environments with strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration capabilities in an international setting.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and adaptability skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and foster trust across all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in procurement systems and data analysis tools, including SAP and Excel, with solid knowledge of e-auctions, digital procurement solutions, and process automation.
  • Demonstrates high integrity, ownership, execution focus, and a collaborative mindset in delivering business results.
  • Fluent in both English and Thai, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
