What's The Role
The Global Account Manager (GAM) – Multinational Corporation is an on-site a senior commercial leadership role in Trinidad responsible for driving global growth, retention, and operational excellence across a portfolio of multinational enterprise customers. The portfolio includes key accounts headquartered or operating across diverse markets.
This position serves as the ultimate global owner of the client relationship, ensuring the seamless delivery of telecom and ICT solutions worldwide. The GAM defines the overarching account strategy, aligns cross-functional international teams, and maintains executive-level relationships to secure long-term revenue performance and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute comprehensive global account plans that align client needs with corporate business objectives.
- Identify and capture cross-border expansion opportunities across connectivity, mobility, cloud, security, IoT, and managed services.
- Monitor global and multi-regional market dynamics, including regulatory environments, macroeconomic trends, and competitive landscapes
- Serve as the primary, trusted global advisor for C-level executives and key decision-makers within multinational customer organizations.
- Establish and foster long-term relationships across multiple tiers, geographies, and operating entities of the client's business.
- Lead standardized business reviews and executive steering committees to track performance, SLAs, and strategic alignment.
- Own total revenue growth, P&L performance, and contract retention targets for the assigned global account portfolio.
- Lead complex, multi-country RFPs, structuring global pricing frameworks, commercial proposals, and master service agreements (MSAs).
- Maintain accurate global forecasting, pipeline visibility, and risk-mitigation strategies for executive leadership.
- Coordinate and lead matrixed regional account teams, technical engineers, and project managers across different time zones to ensure seamless global service delivery.
- Serve as the ultimate global escalation point for critical service or commercial issues, orchestrating rapid resolution across internal international departments.
- Collaborate with global product management teams to standardize or customize solutions that fit multi-regional deployment requirements.
- Oversee global service level agreements (SLAs) and unified customer experience indicators to ensure consistent quality of service.
What You'll Need
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable.
- Professional Experience: 8–12 years of experience in enterprise account management, B2B telecom sales, or ICT solutions, with a proven track record of managing large-scale multinational or global accounts.
- Geographic Familiarity: Proven experience navigating the business landscapes of telecom/ICT spaces.
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of enterprise connectivity (SD-WAN, MPLS), mobility solutions, cloud architecture, cybersecurity, IoT, and global managed services.
- Deal Making: Demonstrated success negotiating multi-million dollar Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and complex international commercial contracts.
- Matrix Experience: Expert-level experience navigating and leading within complex, matrixed global corporate structures.
