Position Title: EHS Engineer

Your Job

  • Molex is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Engineer to support the implementation and maintenance of EHS programs, ensure compliance with local regulations, and contribute to a safe and healthy workplace across Molex Taiwan operations. Our Team

  • You will join a dedicated EHS team that includes an EHS Engineer, Safety Engineer, EHS Technician, Facility Engineer and General Affairs assistant. The team works closely with corporate safety professionals to support the Molex Tamsui, Sanchong and Xinyi office site and establish corporate EHS standards and guidelines. This position will report to the EHS Manager.

What You Will Do

  • Develop, implement, and maintain management systems to ensure compliance with EHS policies and procedures in compliance with Global EHS and local regulations.

  • Support the implementation of EHS programs and initiatives to achieve corporate EHS objectives.

  • Assist in preparing regulatory reports and maintaining communication with relevant government agencies.

  • Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement preventative measures.

  • Ensure all employees and contractors receive adequate EHS training tailored to their job roles and responsibilities, fostering an environment where employees understand and exercise their decision rights regarding EH&S.

  • Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct regular emergency drills.

  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate EHS considerations into all operational activities.

  • Participate in incident investigations and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.

  • Maintain EHS performance data and support preparation of periodic reports and dashboards.

  • Support EHS communication, awareness campaigns, and employee training activities.

  • Actively apply Koch’s Principle Based Management™ (PBM®) to all EHS activities and initiatives such as Electrical safety, LOTO, Equipment Safety programs and utilize tools such as Enablon, Sphera and RA…etc.

  • Support Business Continuity Planning (BCP) activities, emergency preparedness exercises, and related documentation.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

  • Level B technician for Occupational Safety and Health Management

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an EHS role within a manufacturing or industrial setting.

  • Working knowledge of local EHS regulations and management systems.

  • Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems; knowledge of ISO 14064, and RBA standards is a plus.

  • Experience supporting EHS audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, or EHS training programs.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Professional certifications in occupational safety management specialist or occupational health management specialist

  • Fire Protection Manager certification.

  • Experience with facility management or manufacturing operations.

  • Experience supporting ISO 14001, ISO 45001, RBA, Stewardship or sustainability programs.
