Field Application Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Serves as a technical expert for Server Rails products .
• Provide first line product support by providing help to customers and colleagues using nVent Server Rails products.
• Provide technical application assistance to identify modified and engineered products based on customer specification and application requirements.
• Conduct nVent Server Rails product training to customers including ODM, CSP, and SI.
• Provide market specific intelligence and feedback on products and services to the commercial teams and engineering team. Assist commercial teams with voice of customer (VOC) visits.
• Identify project RFQ spec requirement to meet internal and external needs.
• Compile and coordinate to build technical proposals in response to Server Rail RFQ proposals.
• Establish working relationships with global customer service, design engineering, and quality teams to support account commercial needs.

Job requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required preferably in mechanical engineering
• 5+ years of Mechanical Engineering or FAE experience
• Work with a dynamic and inclusive multinational company
• Ability to discuss product design and improvement internally and externally.
• Previously worked in teams and a good team player
• Demonstrated problem solving and complex analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Must have strong customer orientation
• Good time management skills

The Field Application Engineering will be responsible for technical support nVent Server Rail product to large end customers in the data center, Cloud Service Provider, Edge computing, and ODM customers.
