Security Professional for Distillery

Allied Universal® is hiring a Unarmed Security Professional. The Unarmed Security Professional is entrusted with sensitive information and given the responsibility to protect information and personnel. This Security Professional will receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols associated with their level, allowing for skill development and professional growth in the security field.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
• Preserve order and enforce rules, regulations, and directives for the viability of the site
• Greeting guests and employees, assisting where appropriate; escorting visitors and contractors, secure ingress and egress points, secure classified information
• Follow-site specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via oral and written communication; interacting with client and/or other security personnel regarding order execution when appropriate
• Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms; act as a first responder in emergency situations and provide first aid as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer owned vehicle
• Possess, or be able to successfully complete within 90 days of assignment, certification in:
  • First Aid
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
• Must possess one or more of the following:
  • Minimum of two (1) years of previous security experience
  • Minimum of two (1) years of service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
• Minimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by the state)
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to articulate and write clear and concise incident or situation reports

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate's degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
