The core responsibilities of this role include: Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment through routine cleaning, waste removal, and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and common spaces.
Position: First (1st) Shift Sanitation
Shift: Monday - Friday 6AM - 2:30 PM
Pay: $20.65 per hour
In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:
- Perform routine and deep cleaning of the facility, including work areas, floors, docks, and common spaces, for most of the shift.
- Safely handle, mix, and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA, MSDS, and company safety guidelines.
- Conduct daily inspections of cleaning tools and equipment; report any damage or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate sanitation logs, checklists, and required documentation.
- Ensure proper waste removal and disposal of trash, recyclables, and hazardous materials.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly work environment always.
- Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.

Role Purpose:
Responsible for maintaining cleanliness in and around company facilities
Key Accountabilities:
- Clean warehouse utilizing a variety of equipment and products.
- Remove all refuse from offices and building daily.
- Repair damaged pallets.
- Remove ice and snow from walkways and parking lots.
- Wash and sweep inside of trailers.
- Clean break room and work areas.
- Maintain exterior property, keeping it clean and orderly.
Required Education and Experience:
- Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program with the first 30 days of employment
- 0-6 months general warehouse experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
