Position Summary
Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager in Louisville, Kentucky.
Work You’ll Do
Manage information technology projects including software testing and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions in the insurance, financial services, healthcare, state and local government, telecom, and retail industries. Manage test estimation, test planning, test design, test execution, test reporting as well as coordinate testing and test artifacts across all phases of testing, including SIT (System Integration Testing), UAT (User Acceptance Testing), End-to-End, and Performance Testing. Manage day to day interactions with executives and sponsors; develop and maintain contact with top decision makers. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team and developers/testers.; Work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.
- 50% Travel required nationally.
- Telecommuting permitted.
Requirements
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience.
Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:
- Setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, managing activities between workstreams and identifying changes in scope, utilizing Agile, Waterfall, and Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodologies;
- Researching user reported issues, implementing fixes, liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams and identifying root causes and resolutions utilizing failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Fishbone, and Scatterplot diagrams;
- Overseeing technical and functional system requirements and use cases, including navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models and screen layouts utilizing Figma, and Azure DevOps;
- Participating in aspects of test scripts, plans and cases, logging defects, and generating test execution reports utilizing Azure Test Plans, HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and Atlassian Jira;
- Reviewing Functional, Automation, and Performance testing for IBM Cloud solutions;
- Performing and overseeing testing across custom developed solutions, including Health Level 7 (HL7) v2, Integrating Healthcare Enterprise (IHE), and Consolidated-Clinical Document Architecture(C-CDA) based solutions and large-scale package implementations, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Visual Studio Code (VS Code), Selenium, and JMeter;
- Organizing with teams, including external vendors across different types of testing, including Partner Integration, and User Acceptance (UAT) testing; and
- Coordinating and performing testing for systems implementations in multiple industries including Healthcare, and state and local government services.
