Position Summary: Dismantles, rebuilds, and installs panel boards, control cases, cable reels and associated electrical equipment.
Tools and Equipment: Small hand tools, volt-ohm meter, hoist, fork truck, hydraulic crimpers, micrometer, caliper
Sample Work Procedure:
Dismantles electrical control cases, panels, cable reels, and related electrical equipment.
Removes all wire, cleans electrical connections, paints panels and control cases.
Checks electrical components with volt-ohm meter; replacing or repairing parts as required.
Using various diagrams, reassembles and installs control cases, panel boards, cable reels and other electrical components.
Tests function of re-assembled equipment, consulting with supervisor when required.
Obeys all safety rules and performs housekeeping assignments.

Use basic math

Proper operation of fork trucks

Safety training (Haz-Com, Lockout/Tag out, Confined Space, BBP, High Voltage, Lifting
Knowledgeable of ISO
Basic computer skills
Knowledgeable of SAP applications
Education and Experience Requirements
Physical Requirements
- Three or more years’ experience in electrical repair of mining equipment preferred; will accept equivalent education in lieu of experience
- Ability to work any shift
- Ability to work overtime
- Ability to work weekends

At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $29.79. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
