Dispatcher

• Schedule and track shipments.
• Dispatch and assign loads.
• Address issues and requests, transmitting information or providing solutions.
• Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance.
• Use radio, phone and computer to send crews and vehicles to appropriate locations.
• Monitor route and status of trucks, coordinating and prioritizing.
• Provide drivers information about orders, traffic, obstacles and requirements.
• Enter data, maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information.
• Hours are Sunday - Thursday 3pm - 11pm
• Pay - $18.66

Qualifications

• 2+ years of current dispatch experience in a similar trucking environment required.
• Proficient knowledge of shipping and receiving trucking operations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of technology and computer skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Sense of urgency.

Physical Requirements

• Typical office environment within a manufacturing plant utilizing computers, telephones and other office equipment.
• Work in hot and cold temperatures, with exposure to dusty conditions and airborne particles.
• Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
