This role will serve as a trusted HR partner to business functions and associates. This role supports the execution of people strategies that drive operational excellence, workforce productivity, associate engagement, and talent development across a complex and fast-paced distribution and supply chain environment.
The Senior HR Generalist partners with leaders to provide expertise in employee relations, talent management, organizational efficiency, performance management, workforce planning, employee engagement, and change management. This role acts as the primary HR resource for manager and frontline associate populations while collaborating closely with HR Centers of Excellence.
Responsibilities
• Partner with business and functional leaders to implement people strategies aligned with operational goals.
• Provide coaching and direction regarding hiring, onboarding, associate development, performance management, change management, organizational planning, associate relations and associate retention
• Support talent review, organizational planning, and development planning processes.
• Partner with leaders to identify critical talent gaps and create development strategies while promoting leadership capability through coaching and development resources
• Coaches leaders and managers on processes and conversations to address and resolve associate relations issues and confer with legal partners when needed
• Ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures, and employment practices.
• Support teams with action planning for Associate Opinion Survey
• Ability to lead projects and support other projects and company initiatives
Qualifications
Qualifications
• 3 - 5 years demonstrable experience in human resources, all areas of human resources preferred
• Experience supporting operations, manufacturing, distribution center, transportation, logistics, engineering or maintenance environments
• Experience coaching leaders on performance management and organizational effectiveness.
• Proven ability to influence leaders and drive business results.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, operational environments.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building abilities.
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience
