Maintenance Technician, Condominium

Legum and Norman is hiring an experienced residential Maintenance Technician for is condominium community in Alexandria.

Daily tasks:

• Right hand person to Onsite manager.
• Subject Matter Expert in all things Maintenance.
• Bring ideas and solution to Onsite manager; establish routine, preventative, maintenance schedule.
• Walk and inspect property; fix and repair where needed.
• Review and prioritize maintenance requests.
• Perform general maintenance to include HVAC, drywall, paint plaster, patch, plumbing and electrical.
• Contact and coordinate with vendors and contractors onsite.
• Shared on-call, nights, weekends, holidays, and emergencies.
• Other duties as requested.

Hourly pay rate: $25-$30.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of residential maintenance experience from the association, apartment, vacation rental, or hotel industries.
• Excellent communication skills, follow-up, follow-through.
• Customer service driven.
• Proactive, takes ownership and initiative to maintain and repair property as needed.
• Punctual, on-time, reliable and dependable.
• Takes pride in their work
• Valid driver's licenses, clean driving record, and reliable transportation is required.
