Job Summary
We are seeking a customer-focused Help Desk Support Analyst to provide first-level technical support for end users in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for resolving a wide range of hardware, software, account access, and application issues while delivering outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working within a structured service desk environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to technical support requests through phone, email, voicemail, self-service portals, and callback requests.
- Troubleshoot and resolve common issues related to hardware, software, Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, Outlook, printers, network connectivity, and user account access.
- Log, track, document, and manage incidents and service requests using the organization's ticketing system.
- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate support teams, ensuring detailed troubleshooting steps and documentation are provided.
- Monitor and communicate critical incidents and service disruptions to appropriate stakeholders and support groups.
- Research unfamiliar technical issues using knowledge base articles, technical documentation, and approved support resources.
- Create, maintain, and update support documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base content.
- Share incident trends, process improvements, and lessons learned with team members to improve service delivery.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Follow established security policies, Help Desk procedures, and IT service management processes.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance support operations and user satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3+ years of Help Desk, Service Desk, or Technical Support experience.
- Experience supporting Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Knowledge of Outlook, Active Directory account management, password resets, and user administration.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and incident management processes.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced support environment.
- Strong customer service orientation and commitment to end-user satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of ITIL or IT service management best practices.
- Familiarity with remote support tools and endpoint management solutions.
- Technical certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Fundamentals, or related certifications.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
