The Role:

We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Manufacturing Engineer – Welding who brings enthusiasm, energy and a technical mindset to the table, with a strong focus on leading welding manufacturing process projects, automation integration, and complex manufacturing engineering solutions. In this role, you’ll support Manufacturing Engineering functions including current process optimization, introduction of new technology into welding manufacturing operations leveraging automation, robotics, IA tools, continuously improving safety, quality, and productivity, collaborating with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals. What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead the design and development of manufacturing processes and production lines, including welding, automation, robotics, tooling, and material flow.
• Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Lean/Toyota Production System principles to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and cost.
• Lead implementation and validation of new welding, automation, and robotic processes.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and system integrators to develop and implement manufacturing solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive improvements to eliminate downtime and improve productivity.
• Develop process controls, standard work, business cases, and make-versus-buy analyses to support manufacturing and factory transformation initiatives.
• Serve as a technical resource for welding, automation, and advanced manufacturing within the assigned area.
• Drive continuous improvement and proactively identify opportunities to improve manufacturing performance.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in a heavy fabrication or industrial manufacturing environment.
• Strong MIG welding knowledge, hands-on experience, and troubleshooting skills preferred.
• Experience with manufacturing automation, robotics, simulation, and/or manufacturing transformation projects preferred.
• Experience designing layouts, fixtures, and tooling using CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, CATIA, or Creo.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Toyota Production System principles.
• Strong project management, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work hands-on, manage multiple projects, and effectively communicate complex technical concepts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Power BI and database experience preferred.
• Commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and process improvement.

What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:

Salary- $94,020 - $120,540 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
