Position Overview: Children’s Home Society of South Dakota is seeking a Full-Time Cook to prepare meals and snacks for residential, day students, and on-duty staff. Pay: Minimum of $20.00+/hour (DOE)

What You’ll Do:

- Fulfill menu requirements and serve meals.
- Wash pots and pans, trays, dishes, etc.
- Take out kitchen trash to outside trash bins.
- Cover, label and date all suitable leftovers for storage.
- Take and record food temperatures at mealtime.
- Maintain personal cleanliness, as well as cleanliness of the kitchen and storage areas.
- Take and record refrigerator, freezer and dishwashing machine temperatures.
- Attend team meetings as required.
- Participate in required in-service training.

Requirements
Required
- High school degree or GED required.
Preferred
- Some experience in quantity food production preferred.
