Guardian Glass is seeking an Engineering Manager to join our Operations team in Geneva, NY.

In this role, you will help shape the future of a high-performing manufacturing operation by leading engineering strategy, developing technical talent, and driving transformational capital investments. You will have the opportunity to influence long-term plant performance, partner with global and local stakeholders, and create lasting value through innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

You will join a collaborative operations team that partners closely with maintenance, quality, engineering, development, and technical resources to improve process performance. What You Will Do

  • Partner with global engineering and plant leadership teams to prioritize investments, align project execution strategies, and drive long-term operational performance improvements.
  • Collaborate with plant operations to maximize long-term value creation.
  • Lead the development and execution of the plant's 1-, 3-, and 5-year transformation roadmap, translating strategic priorities into capital investments that improve operational performance, reliability, and long-term value creation.
  • Develop, coach, and empower a high-performing engineering team capable of leading complex capital investments, driving continuous improvement, and achieving both individual and business growth objectives.
  • Execute projects that support reliability improvements, equipment lifecycle management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Establish performance metrics and leverage financial and operational data to prioritize engineering resources, capital investments, and improvement opportunities that support business objectives.
  • Apply the DMF and FEL process for capital projects.
  • Apply critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to strategic planning and execution.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience in a continuous manufacturing environment
  • Experience leading a team in a fast pace, 24/7/365 manufacturing environment
  • Experience implementing Project Execution Plan/Phases and contractor oversight
  • Experience with power distribution, control systems, mechanical systems, P&ID, and machine design

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering

For this role we anticipate paying $120,000-$150,000 per year.
