Position Summary

As an experienced BI Developer, you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel. The Project Delivery Talent Model is designed for professionals with specialized skills that align to a current client need. Team members focus on delivering services to clients, without additional expectations related to business development or promotion. Work you’ll do/Responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, scorecards, and visualizations using MicroStrategy and Tableau.
- Translate finance and business requirements into accurate, intuitive, and user-friendly BI solutions.
- Build MicroStrategy dossiers, reports, metrics, attributes, filters, prompts, subscriptions, and dashboards.
- Develop Tableau workbooks, dashboards, calculated fields, parameters, filters, hierarchies, and visual analytics.
- Write and optimize SQL queries across relational databases, enterprise data warehouses, Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, and cloud platforms.
- Validate and reconcile data, establish governed metrics and standardized data definitions, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Optimize dashboard performance, extract refreshes, report execution, and query response times while troubleshooting data and visualization issues.
- Publish and manage BI content, configure access and distribution, collaborate with stakeholders, and support documentation, testing, releases, change management, and automation using SQL, SAS, Python, and PySpark.

Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of experience developing BI reports, dashboards, metrics, filters, calculations, and data visualizations.
- Hands-on experience with either MicroStrategy or Tableau, including Tableau Server, Tableau Cloud, or comparable BI platforms.
- Experience with Oracle databases, including advanced SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning.
- Experience in data warehouse development
- Strong experience in data analysis and business requirements
- Experience in the financial services industry, preferably in futures/derivatives market
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. This may include overnight travel.
Preferred
- Experience with Python & shell scripting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
- Experience in banking, payments, insurance, wealth management, capital markets, treasury, or risk management.
- Experience developing financial, operational, executive, revenue, profitability, or risk dashboards.
- Experience with advanced MicroStrategy or Tableau features.
- Experience with Oracle, Snowflake, SQL Server, Teradata, Databricks, AWS, or Azure.
- Familiarity with ETL processes, data pipelines, data governance, and metadata management.
- Experience managing user access, content publishing, scheduled refreshes, or report deployments.
- Familiarity with financial controls, data privacy, and reporting standards.
- Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or ServiceNow.
- Tableau and/or MicroStrategy certifications.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,000 to $188,400.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
