AGI Hi Roller manufactures a line of premier commercial enclosed, dust-tight and self-reloading conveyors, designed for installation in grain handling facilities, soy and corn processing operations and industrial operations. It specializes exclusively in the design and application of conveyors which will not only contain dust and spilled materials but will also automatically reload that material back on the carrying surface of the belt.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized International Shipping Coordinator to oversee and coordinate the movement of goods across international borders. This role is responsible for ensuring shipments are processed accurately, comply with international trade regulations, and arrive on time while maintaining excellent communication with carriers, customs brokers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has strong logistics experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and a thorough understanding of import/export documentation and international shipping processes.

The Team

You will be supported in this role by our on-site logistics team consisting of shipping, receiving, and inventory control professionals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate international import and export shipments via air, ocean, and ground transportation.
• Prepare and review shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and customs paperwork.
• Crate and package goods to prevent damage during shipment.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
• Communicate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, suppliers, and customers regarding shipment status and requirements.
• Track and monitor shipments from origin to destination and proactively resolve delays or transportation issues.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation within company systems.
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, and sales teams to meet delivery expectations.
• Obtain freight quotes and assist in evaluating transportation costs and service options.
• Support customs audits and provide documentation as required.
• Identify opportunities to improve shipping efficiency, reduce transportation costs, and enhance service levels.
• Ensure adherence to applicable import/export laws, trade agreements, and restricted-party screening requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in international shipping, logistics, supply chain, or transportation coordination.
• Working knowledge of import/export regulations and international shipping documentation.
• Experience coordinating with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transportation providers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP or transportation management systems
• Experience with international trade compliance programs
• APICS, CSCMP, or other logistics-related certifications
