We're looking for a Facilities Operations Technician III to join a high-performing team responsible for supporting and maintaining mission-critical infrastructure in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment. This position is 100% onsite in Saline, MI. Candidates must be able and willing to work onsite at the Saline facility.

What You'll Do

As a Facilities Operations Technician III, you'll be a key player in maintaining the reliability and performance of critical facility systems by:

  • Operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical and mechanical infrastructure
  • Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on mission-critical equipment
  • Diagnosing issues and responding to alarms, incidents, and equipment failures
  • Monitoring facility performance through building management and maintenance systems
  • Partnering with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to support facility operations
  • Maintaining detailed maintenance records and operational documentation
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives that enhance system reliability and efficiency
  • Mentoring and assisting junior technicians while contributing to a strong team environment

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 2+ years of experience in facilities, manufacturing, industrial, mission-critical, data center, or similar technical environments
  • Experience working with electrical, HVAC, mechanical, or building systems
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a passion for solving technical problems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance documentation
  • A safety-first mindset with a commitment to operational excellence
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Bonus Points For

  • Data center or critical facilities experience
  • Military technical experience, apprenticeship training, or trade school experience.
  • OSHA, NFPA 70E, EPA 608, Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical, or related certifications
  • Experience supporting equipment and infrastructure in 24/7 operations environments

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Saline, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $55.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
