Staring Rate of pay: $20/hour
Shift Premium: $1.00/hour extra for shift differential
What you will be doing
- Pull all correct tooling for press schedules and supply them to the correct Press/location.
- Remove all used tooling from presses and separate tooling for caustic/storage.
- Load used tooling into boil out tanks.
- Remove boiled out tooling from caustic tanks, rinse, dry.
- Shot blast all dies from caustic cleaning and transport into die repair shop.
- Manipulation and control of steel (50-75lbs) with pulling, pushing and lifting.
- Other duties as assigned.
What will make you successful?
Required Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with precision tooling.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, production schedules, and setup documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience in aluminum extrusion, die shop operations, or industrial manufacturing.
- Experience operating overhead cranes, forklifts, and lifting devices.
- Knowledge of extrusion dies, tooling assembly, and die handling practices.
- Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
