A Brief Overview

Provide operational and customer service support by performing clerical and administrative tasks, for the purpose of assisting with unit-specific processes and supporting other department personnel in the ECR and PR regions. In addition, to the Government of the VI personnel at the Lieutenant Governor’s office, Insurance companies (locally and overseas) exchanging and verifying information.

The job function also includes boarding (data entry) of auto and insurance loans for ECR regions to the host system (ASP) and next day verification of same. Preparation and processing of outgoing wire transfers, financial transactions and general ledger accounts monitoring and monthly reconciliation. Quality Assurance (QA) review of personnel loans booked by branches; validation of documents received and custody of same; safekeeping of files and physical collateral complying with Bank’s procedure and guidelines required to obtain and maintain satisfactory audit ratings. Accountable for adhering to the Bank’s BSA, AML and Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) applicable policies. Employee is also responsible for reporting any suspicious activity and/or transactions in accordance with the Bank’s processes and comply with any mandatory BSA, AML and OFAC training assigned

What You’ll Need to Succeed

-Receive renewal policies for auto loans and update the host system daily.

-Complete daily recaps, reconciliations, and general ledger tasks.

-Handle mortgage payoffs and returns.

-Enter/validate new auto loans.

-Prepare releases for mortgage and consumer loans paid-in-full accounts.

-Conduct quality assurance reviews.

-Review and maintain expired auto insurance.

-Review Auto Loan Syster (ALS) Cash Collateral report weekly (Monday, as of Friday).

-Process Dealer Incentive disbursements by the 5th of each month for the preceding month.

-Process suspense and unposted items.

-Process outgoing and incoming clean collection.

-Initiate and set up new custody bonds/renewals while liaising with Lt. Governor’s office.

-Maintain JPM treasury bonds, safekeeping and custody bonds to include distribution of interest payments/statement

-Preparation and input of outgoing wires via GFT systems.

-Validate and manage physical collateral and credit/collateral files

Competencies

  • Strong written and verbal communication for reports and presentations in English.
  • Prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and coordinate resources effectively.
  • Handle sensitive financial and personnel information responsibly.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office tools, banking software, data security protocols, and digital platforms.
  • Respond to changing regulations, market conditions, and organizational needs.
  • Understand and respond to internal and external client needs.
  • Knowledge of laws, regulatory compliance and other financial regulations.

What You’ll Need

  • High School or Technical College. Or equivalent combination of Education and Experience

  • Fannie Mae Servicing Professional , Certification, training or equivalent a plus

  • 1– 2 years Experience in a clerical or administrative role

  • 1 – 2 years Experience in Mortgage, personal, auto , loan processing role; some Fannie Mae

  • Servicing experience Other Bank/Government regulations pertaining to bank issued loans, collateral and escrow
