Your Role

The MES Engineer supports the effective use and continuous improvement of Siemens Opcenter MES at the Jaffrey site. This role provides day-to-day user and operational support, troubleshooting, business-facing configuration updates, and coordination with IT and cross-functional teams to help ensure MES supports site operations, quality, and compliance requirements. The role works closely with site SMEs, Operations, Quality, Validation, Automation, IT, and global digital teams, and may also support future MES expansion activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MES modeling and configuration changes and enhancements to address operational needs, improve user experience, and align system use with site processes and user requirements.
  • Resolve workflow, reporting, integration, and usage issues in MES, in collaboration Opcenter SME and cross-functional teams.
  • Work with IT to support resolution to issues affecting Production uptime as needed.
  • Support equipment and enterprise system interfaces by monitoring data flow, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating enhancements with cross-functional teams.
  • Lead change management activities for all MES maintenance and improvement initiatives for existing deployments, with support from the cross-functional team.
  • Perform change assessments and support qualification and validation activities for system updates, fixes, and enhancements
  • Create and maintain technical documentation aligned with GAMP, SDLC, and site procedures
  • Ensure MES-related activities comply with GxP, data integrity, EHS, and quality requirements
  • Partner with Operations, Quality, Validation, Automation, IT, and other teams to support continuous improvement and effective site use of MES

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM, engineering, computer science, technical management, or a related field
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience
  • 2+ years of experience supporting manufacturing, OT, MES, or related digital systems in a production environment
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing process support and system troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn Siemens Opcenter MES configuration, including modeling objects, business rules, expressions, user queries, and integrations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working Knowledge of ISO & FDA regulations (such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485 or 21 CFR 820, 210 & 211).
  • Knowledge of SQL queries, SAP Business Objects, or related reporting and data tools
  • Familiarity with equipment integration and interface support, including OPC UA or similar connectivity
  • Understanding of GxP-regulated environments and GAMP requirements
  • Experience supporting system improvements, upgrades, or small enhancement activities
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Pay Range for this position: $116,400 - $174,600

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
