Overview
Responsible for electrical maintenance in the Melt Shop working a 4 on 4 off 12-hour rotating swing shift.
Responsibilities
- Leader in locking out equipment and assuring that all maintenance work is done safely.
- Perform preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and installation of new electrical equipment.
- Assist millwrights and operators with daily maintenance work.
Qualifications
Required
- At least 3 years working as an electrician or electronics technician in an industrial environment
- Knowledge of power distribution, AC/DC motors, motor control and motor drives
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLC’s, and Rockwell Software
- Experience with low, medium, and high voltage equipement
- Understanding of thermodynamics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Preferred
- Robotic experience (ABB preferred)
- Formal industrial electrical, and automation training
- Skilled at problem solving and troubleshooting electrical equipment
