AV/VTC Production Engineer

Purpose:
The AV/VTC Production Engineer provides advanced engineering, production, and technical support for enterprise audiovisual, video conferencing, and multimedia systems. This position supports the design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of AV/VTC solutions while providing live-production and post-production support for executive meetings, hearings, conferences, training sessions, and webcasts.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, operate, maintain, and support AV/VTC systems.
  • Support conference rooms, training facilities, hybrid environments, and live-event spaces.
  • Perform video editing and post-production using tools such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Wondershare.
  • Operate Blackmagic and similar video-switching systems.
  • Operate cameras, audio mixers, DSPs, control processors, projection systems, and LED displays.
  • Develop motion graphics and visual storytelling content.
  • Design and integrate AV/VTC solutions.
  • Develop signal-flow diagrams and equipment layouts.
  • Configure and support AV-over-IP networks.
  • Provide live production support for town halls, executive meetings, conferences, training events, and webcasts.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and support equipment lifecycle replacement planning.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure production systems remain operational.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting a comparable AV/VTC or multimedia production environment.
  • Experience supporting dispersed offices or enterprise-scale environments.
  • Strong experience with Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Wondershare, Blackmagic, DSPs, cameras, microphones, displays, and control systems.
  • Experience with AV system design, integration, signal flow, and AV-over-IP.
  • AVIXA CTS/CTS-I certification preferred.
  • Adobe and/or Blackmagic proficiency preferred.
  • Ability to successfully complete and maintain a Public Trust background investigation.
