POSITION PURPOSE
The Production Artist/Account Manager is responsible for optimizing art files for the Direct-to-Garment (DTG) Print Shop. Under the limited guidance of the DTG Manager, this position will collaborate with designers, merchandisers, and managers from Home Office to prep and output files for both DTG and pad printing. This person will ensure pre-production samples are completed and any top of productions (TOP) samples or photo samples are sent to the proper parties in advance of pertinent deadlines.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Utilize Adobe design programs to separate and clean up usable art files from their techpacks for DTG sampling and production
• Collaborate with DTG Team Members to successfully print color-correct samples as prescribed in techpacks
• Utilize ColorGate, and QuickP for DTG files, as well as ezCAD for neckplate etching
• Manage the tracking of artwork through the sample-production stages of its lifecycle
• Act as liaison between Home Office Design team and DTG Production team as well as vendors to ensure items are prepared and delivered on time and correctly
• Use notes from partners, vendors, and/or buyers for all samples to ensure changes are made and samples are approved
• Assist in building and maintaining the approved sample library
• Assist in building setup specifications for all files printed in the Zumiez DTG Print Shop
• Maintain up to date knowledge base of Zumiez procedures and best practices for DTG printing techniques, strategies, print quality, and fabric notes
• Utilize department best practices to organize, store, name and set up creative files efficiently and effectively
• Promote continual improvement and actively contribute to a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability
• Ensure an efficient process and communication flow between design, development and strategic partners
• Performs other duties as assigned by DTG Manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED required
• AA or equivalent work in the field of graphic design or garment printing & production preferred
• 2-3 years of experience in graphic design function preferred
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop or similar required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook required
• Ability to communicate effectively through clear articulation of ideas in written and verbal forms in both individual and group settings
• Effective communicator with problem-solving skills
• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
• Ability to integrate well into a fast-paced, diverse, competitive, and resultsdriven environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Ability to lift from floor to above the head, 50 lbs. frequently, and 75 lbs. occasionally, throughout work shift
• Ability to move around in an office environment to access files or product and gather information, stand, walk, use hands to type, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms
• Ability to work in warehouse environment with constant exposure to loud machinery
• Ability to sit in stationary position in an office environment for extended periods of time and work on a PC without limitations
• Ability to distinguish colors and inspect materials on product

Qualifications

Position Purpose: The DTG Inventory Lead supports the Direct to Garment (DTG) Print Shop. This position is responsible for accurate and timely receipt and storage of goods in accordance with best practices and guiding principles as well as the general accuracy of DTG raw materials.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform DTG related tasks including, but not limited to: accurate receiving and storage of raw materials, inventory counts and audits, inventory adjustments
• Ensures timely receipt of raw materials and stores within established raw material management best practices and guiding principles
• Leads team members in execution and maintenance of inventory
• Acts as main point of contact for internal and external partners with inquiries and needs related to raw material inventory
• Partners with Production Planner and Production Manager to coordinate priorities and needs
• Accountable for inventory accuracy
• Responsible for planning and prioritizing daily inbound workload
• Coordinate inbound deliveries and outbound shipments to / from external partners
• Ability to recognize issues and optimize workflow
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience

• 3 years DC or similar experience required
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• 3 years of experience in Distribution or Warehouse setting

Physical Demands of Work Environment:

• Ability to lift from floor to above the head, 50 lbs. frequently, and 75 lbs. occasionally, throughout work shift
• Ability to use hands to handle or feel product
• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours
• Must be willing and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, twist, and reach
• Ability to work in warehouse environment with constant exposure to loud machinery

• Ability to work in varied temperatures, both indoors and outdoors
