Purpose of Position
To develop a methodology to extract rare earth element from produced water
Duties & Responsibilities
- Analyze produced water chemistry
- Develop the system dynamics model to extract rare earth element from produced water
- Sensitivity analyses of the model
- Evaluate produced water injectivity and disposal system
Required Competencies
- Able to work independently or with a team
- Detail orientated
Minimum Requirements
- MS or PhD in Geoscience or Petroleum Engineering
- Knowledge in produced/wastewater chemistry, extraction methods of elements from produced water, produced water injection and disposal
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
